Canada United was only possible with your active participation. We thank you so much for joining the movement, adding our decals to your storefronts, and posting our banners on social media.
We hope you had a successful weekend, and we hope that continues as the country continues to recover from COVID-19.
Small businesses, we’ve got big news. We’re extending our relief grants!
We are extremely happy to share that the Federal Government has contributed $12 million to the Canada United Small Business Relief Fund! We are now able to extend relief grants to more small businesses and restart accepting grant applications from small businesses across all Provinces. We have also updated the eligibility criteria to make it easier to understand what’s covered, and streamlined the application process to make it easier to complete.
So remember, if you’re a small business, you may be eligible to receive a relief grant of up to $5,0001. The grant can be used to reimburse expenses related to COVID-19 recovery efforts, such as purchases of PPE, physical space renovations or developing website and e-commerce capabilities.
WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE RELIEF GRANT
We have reached the maximum number of grant applications we can take at this time for the Canada United Small Business Relief Fund. We may take additional applications at a later date. Please check back here or visit the Ontario Chamber of Commerce relief fund page to find out if and when we will accept additional grant applications. Or, visit the Ontario Chamber of Commerce page to learn more about the grant details and eligibility criteria.
Canada United created significant awareness for the need to support small, local and Canadian businesses. We encourage you to continue to use Canada United marketing material to promote this important message and show you’re part of the movement.
